Artist (G)I-DLE, who builds their own genre with unrivaled concept digestibility and infinite possibilities, releases their third mini album [I trust] in 9 months.

[I trust] is the third release following the debut album [I am], which declared the definition of 'I' and 'we', and the second mini album [I made], which showed growth through self-production. (G)I-DLE's 3rd mini album [I trust] captures the existence of faith starting with 'I'. It is an album with the meaning of 'I trust = I believe in myself', expressing (G)I-DLE's own dignity.

The title song 'Oh my god' is a song that makes me realize that I have to believe in myself through colliding with reality while experiencing feelings of rejection, confusion, recognition, and dignifiedness. 'I trust myself. It expresses the theme of 'I can be proud of myself just by believing in myself'. It is an urban hiphop genre song with a bold rhythm change that changes with each development.

The dynamic development of the sound is also evident in the visual concept of the album. The teaser image, which seems to contain the images of demons and angels, aroused enthusiastic reactions from fans. In particular, this [I trust] physical album includes a black theme 'True Ver.' and a white theme 'Lie Ver.' It is made in 2 types to add specialness. The pure yet cruel definition of love that cannot be divided by black and white logic leaves a strong message through the 'Oh my god' music video. They boldly acted scenes that were difficult to try as a girl group, such as a performance that seemed to express a confused self while immersed in purple water and red mud, black body painting, and blood flowing over their face.

'LION' is a song composed by (G)I-DLE Soyeon and Big Sancho, and the powerful and magnificent drum and 808 bass sound are impressive. The lyrics that compare the innate dignity and charisma of 'Queen' to a lion are desperate and cold, but on the other hand, they are beautiful, strong and holy. In particular, all the fights, perseverance, and wounds to occupy and protect the throne are engraved into the lyrics.
